Right. I'm planning to upgrade from my W800i to a W900i next week. The thing is my network isn't 3G enabled yet. I really just want to know if a 2.5G sim card will work okay in this phone. Obviously, I won't have 3G functions, but I do work in a phone shop, and I have seen issues with 2.5G sims and phones, mainly Samsungs and the SE K608i. The SE V800 seems to work fine. I don't want to have to spend 650euro on this, only to have me using the sim card I don't normally use.

Thanks!

I think it should work, but if your service provider doesn't support 3G those functions won't work. but just to make sure ask them or check it while trying the handset.

I already know my service provider doesn't provide 3G. I work for them. All I want is 2.5g services to work on the phone.

Anyone else know whether it does work? Thanks
