Hi,

I have been having this problem in the last couple of weeks and it is happening almost daily.

I would be listening to the radio and have it minimized. If I try to make a call, the call doesn't connect and instead I hear a loud noise. And the only way to fix this is to restart the phone.

I am thinking that it is a firmware bug, but I already have the latest firmware on the phone.

Does anyone have any ideas what's causing this?

actually, is it possible to make calls when the radio is on? incoming calls are ok, then the radio turns off, but not sure, if the opposite is possible...

@ml - I really haven't tried using both the radio/mp3 and call both at the same time with almost some of my fones (capable) as I know that I will be getting some negative result, hearing two different sound simultaneously will be a disaster I think . . . I am not fully aware though if this is possible. I remember having small problems then with my K700i when sending SMS and at the same time listening to my MP3. Good Luck! [addsig]

yes, of course its possible to call while using the radio. and also the radio does not switch off when sending and receiving calls, it merely mutes

I have no solution to offer for the actual problem but felt it neccessary to make it clear what should be happening to stop any further guessing!

yeah, i have been able to place calls while the radio was on before.

i have a feeling that my problem occurs after the radio has been on for a longer period of time, like 30 minutes or so. I'm not sure if this would matter though.
