Hi, I'm new here. Anyway, I spent several days trying to use Google Talk on my K700 and couldn't find anything on esato (or on Google). After trying several J2ME Jabber apps and messing around with the settings I finally got it working tonight. I hope this post will help someone else.

The app that I finally got to work is called Bombus. The settings I use are as follows:

Username: your gmail.com account
Password: your gmail.com password
Server: gmail.com
Host name/IP: talk.google.com
Port: 5223, use SSL, plain-text
Resource: Bombus

Now if only someone will put up an IMPS server that works with Google Talk so it will work on My Friends.
