hi, sorry i'm obsessed with the phone, but i need to sort some stuff out first to decide whether to get it or not...  thankyou
1. my dad used to have a v500 motorola, and well the battery time sucked, he didn't even use it much and it would need to be recharged like three times a day...! according to newmobile.nl, the w950 has 250 hour standby time, and the v500 has a 210, now bearing in mind what i just said, does that mean the w950 will be nearly that ridiculous? or is 250 hours standby time good?
2. living in the uk, do you think that this will come out only on contract? i'm always on pay as you go, so would that mean i may have to buy it online, abroad or something?
3. despite the few specs that we have been given and the sometimes wrong ones on other than se site, could this possibly have a memory stick slot of some kind? although its not mentioned, yet, on the se site, many if not most other mobile spec sites say that it has... could this just be a mistake and its not in the specs that were waiting for from se, or could it be hidden inside with the battery and sim? because my dads nokia has its memory stick inside with the battery and sim.
4. am i right to assume that this will not have a camera?
5. is it true that the walkman logo light is not visible when phone is off, and comes on as a orange light when turned on?

1. No, it'll probably suffer from poor battery life due to its capabilities, but not as bad as that.
2. It'll come out on contract first, and eventually PAYG, but it will be very expensive on PAYG.
Simply buy the phone sim free if you want it early without a contract.
3. Very much doubt it'll have a memory stick slot if it isnt already mentioned
4. No it has no camera
5. Some people say its true, but pictures indicate otherwise. We wont know until the phone is released or someone gets their hands on one and gives details.
