I just purchased a usb card reader for a sony ericsson memory card, my question is do i have to safely remove that everytime i am finished coyping files or do i just copy, delete and add files then just pull the card out?

Also when i shut down the pc do i safely remove the reader or just shut down

Thanks

I do have a generic memory card reader. I have to manually install it every time I use it. When I'm done, I also have to safely remove the memory card from the card reader (eject) and the memory card reader (hardware) from the PC, once removed, the PC detects it and say that it was safely removed. I see some PC towers has a built-in memory card reader, mostly branded ones, like HP and Compaq.
