if i were to ask him... i would ask..

"Can you please release SE smartphones alot faster than what you are doing lately...."
reason: Im getting all cranky about the phase of P990 with regards to its release...

next...

"Can SE venture into making tablet PC..."
reason: i dunno, maybe they look good making one...

lastly...

"What car or cars do you ride on?"
reason: company cars, this one shows how good a company is...

for those who don't know who Miles Flint is, here is some background information

President, Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications
Member of the Board, Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications

Miles Flint was appointed President of Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications effective 22 June 2004. Prior to this, Miles Flint was President of European Marketing at Sony Europe, where he was responsible for the marketing activities of Sony’s electronics business across Europe. Concurrent with his European role, he also held the position of Managing Director of Sony United Kingdom Limited, the umbrella company that encompasses all of Sony’s electronics operations in the UK.

Miles Flint joined Sony in January 1991 as Managing Director of Sony Broadcast & Communications UK, a division of Sony serving the UK broadcast and professional audio and video markets. In November 1993, he became Regional Director North within Sony Broadcast & Professional’s European operations, responsible for the Nordic region, the UK and Ireland. In 1996 he also assumed responsibility for Sales and Marketing in Western Europe becoming Deputy Managing Director.

Promoted to President of Sony Broadcast & Professional Europe in January 1998, Miles Flint also led the team that was responsible for the marketing and support of products and services to Sony’s Professional Solutions and Customers business division in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Three years later he was appointed to the Board of Sony Europe and to the post of Managing Director of Sony United Kingdom Limited.

In July 2002 Miles Flint became President of Sony Business Europe and assumed responsibility for two additional Sony businesses: Recording Media & Energy and Semiconductor & Electronic Solutions. In November 2003 he was appointed to the role of President of European Marketing at Sony Europe.

Prior to joining Sony, Miles Flint held a series of marketing and product development roles in the fields of computing and telecommunications, firstly at ICL and then at STC following the merger of the two companies.

Miles Flint is a graduate of London University and has an MBA from the Cranfield School of Management (Cranfield University, UK). He was born in July 1953, and lives in Maidenhead (UK) with his wife and two children.

oh yeah... sorry, forgot to write that.

I'd be interested to hear about how much actual hands-on Sony Ericsson product design he provides his own input to, or has a say about in the final products.

I'd also like to know why some of us here who put alot of time and effort into the Sony Ericsson arena don't have direct channels into Sony Ericsson to get answers to technical questions and early products so that we can report on them.

These things would improve both Esato and the satisfaction of the Sony Ericsson userbase who visit here for help

Those are good questions.

I would proberbly ask him why dedicated users and fans of arn't given special privilages such as input into into future products and that he should start a private members club for dedicated officianados..and that membership should have special privlages such as access and invitations to product launches and be given the opertunity to buy the products before general release.

Just some of the things i can think of right now!

Another thing i would say to him would be that should officially recognise esato and place it as a resource on their website and phone manuals. [addsig]

that was pretty much what I was getting at earlier

other, non-SE specific sites seem to get early info and products, but we don't!

making esato related to sony ericsson officially just won't happen.

but yes,i have seen that,in another se specific forum(not naming) gets the latest news on new releases, rumours and leaks faster than esato.i went through their threads and found that some officials often report facts about soon to be released phones to them and from there news reaches esato.
