Hi guys;

I've been in dark side for the last 8 months. As a nokia 6630 user k750i was just hitting the shelves when I bought my nokia. Except its high price the only thing that changed my mind and go the nokia was bigger screen and possible video alternatives (xvid,divx avi..) after 8 months I can say I could'nt find what I was looking for in 6630 as video conversion was tedious and no fm radio (which I realized I need most)was absent. currently I'm seeking for a PMP or alternatives. As a businessman my restrictions are on the size side and that's why I'm posting this message in an sony-ericsson forum rather than an apple, creative archos vs forum. old school method advises me to go for k750i for superb camera+fm+mp3 (if necessary) and ipod video or creative sen vision:m for video+mp3 stuff. but it would be really hard for me to manage both devices in my suit and having their seperate ear phones etc. what I was dreaming (as all of you most probably:)) a single device to have most of the both sides. the question is do you think w900 can handle this position with minimum sacrifices from both sides. I mean it's big, clumsy, has external and no brain radio, smaller memory (againist to pmp's), smaller screen (again to pmp's) most probably would cause headaches on video conversion and watching side (seeking in video is slow?) but on the positive side, one device great screen for a phone,mp3,radio wov factor for jack-knife:) If I havent got the size/managing two devices at the same time problem I should'nt be writing this and would buy k750i+ whateveer pmp that is but in my situation what do you think guys? do I want too much from w900, should I look for a multi purpose handbag I'm reading reviews and user comments of w900 for ages and I'm really going mad your help is really appreciated

i think you should check the P990i as well.You said you were a business man,so maybe the P990i might interest you because it has everything that K750 or W900 has plus many of them are improved,also P990i has touchscreen and being a symbian phone it will have the posibility to read .pdf,word,excel and even some kind of powerpoint files.The only negative thing is that I think you have to wait a bit until it will be released

I agree, i think you should check out the specs of the p990 on gsmarena.com, and maybe the reviews for the other phones you mentioned as well. I'd get 2 separate devices if i were you though, and if you're worried about having two different earpieces, maybe you can get a bluetooth headset that supports both devices. I'm pretty sure i've seen one for the ipod somewhere.

No prob, glad to have been of help. I'm pretty sure there wouldn't be a distinct deterioration in sound quality, but then again, i haven't tried it myself personally, so i could be wrong. I think the p-series phones have always performed well, so you won't go wrong with one, if you're looking for smartphone.

if ur after an all in one device, id say you try having a P series fone (910i and even better, the 990i) or a windows pocket pc fone... though i think the battery life would not suffice your expectations..
