no, you can upgrade your T68 software to that of a T68i for free at an Ericsson Service point...check the SonyEricsson website or ask in the US thread for your nearest service point.

In the US Sony-Ericsson said they have no plans to offer a software upgrade to T68 owners. I purchased my T68 from ATT when they first came out and They will not offer me an upgrade to T68i . In Florida the GSM network was to be state wide per ATT salesmen within a month. Well what I have is very limited service area and limited phone features. So much for adopting new tech early.
