In call, the called party gets beeps when you are trying to press the record button. Is there anyway to disable this tone so that the called party does not know?

Thanks

By default the phone lock code should be 0000.
Try that.

Try coughing when it beeps. I do, and it works a treat.

If they don't know what it is, why don't you just say that you pressed a key by mistake, or is it an ongoing noise...?!

I believe only a firmware update can resolve the issue - which is out of the question to even think about - SE is more focused on releasing new cell phones than improving the 2.0 megapixel pioneer K750i.

I say it's my phone's pre-setted beeper, which beeps in every 20sec.

I'd say it's unlikely to be changed because in the UK it's illegal to record someone without their knowledge and I believe it's the case in most european countries...don't know about any others but it is classed as a breach of human rights.

I was about to write just about the same thing. Here in Sweden it is also illegal.
