I have a W800i, which was originally a K750i but was reflashed to a W800i. Whenever I plug the handsfree/stereo headset into the Fastport connector, it works absolutely fine, but the phone stays in 'Port H-free' mode when I take the 'phones out. I can manually change the profile back to normal, but when I do the phone won't play any sounds, mp3s etc. as if the handsfree is still plugged in! I have to restart the phone to get it back to normal.

I don't think it's a connector problem, or it would be doing it at other times randomly (I had a T68i that used to do that) - is it a software problem? Anyone else had this problem? Any suggestions on how to fix it?

btw, it's running the latest firmware version too. Little side question - when it next comes to updating the firmware - will it update OK considering it used to be a K750i, or would it try to update it with K750i firmware?

Cheers!

i had that happen on my k750i.. it happened because i got an electrical shock when i went to unplug it from the charger

was never able to fix it i even took it completely apart and grounded it..

1 think it's most likely something wrong on the board.

Oh dear! Sounds like something I'll have to learn to live with!

Any other people experienced this, any other suggestions?

Sounds like a common problem with flashed K750i's! Anyone else with the same problem?

Looks like it's a 'characteristic' of the phone I'll have to get used to!
