Hi all,

got a strange problem with a T68i - got 2 email accounts setup, Virgin and T-email. When you send an email to "me@virgin.net" and connect using the Virgin GSM data account it sends and recieves correctly.

But when using the "me@t-email.co.uk" and the T-Mobile GPRS Data connection it always says "send failed" and when recieving, where the text should be you get "unsupported character set"

I have also cross-checked the problem by using the same SIM in a Nokia 7650 - which works correctly using both email accounts and both the Virgin GSM and T-Mobile GPRS Data connections.

I have checked, re-checked several times to make sure all the settings are the same between both handsets - and I believe they are, although if anyone has any suggestions, please let me know !

It seems as if the T68i handles a GPRS data connection differently and re-formats or corrupts the email contents - as the header information is normal and readable.

Some networks only support one software revision on T68's. Might be worth giving your provider a call to check it out.
