Has anyone been having trouble with the w800i or k750i? I have had 5 w800i handsets in the last month and one k750i all having the same trouble. The problem is that the phone will not play any mp3 or video files even the ones preloaded by sonyericsson. It will work for a couple of days and then when you try to play a file it gives a mesage "Playback Failed". I have been on to sonyericsson support and have done all they suggested from downloading new software to master resets. This will fix the problem temporarily but for no reason it will not play the mp3 files or the video. Powering off and on the phone also works but only temporarily. I have the latest handset since thursday, which is from a new batch, but it wouldn't record video from the camera on saturday sonyericsson support suggested a master reset all settings which worked but now today it would play any mp3 files. I have not loaded anything onto the phone deliberately to see if that may be the problem but not the case. The current handset which will not work has the latest software R1AA008. |
