Hello, I bought an MSI bluetooth (USB) transceiver (MS 6967). But when I tried to use Nokia PC Suite 4.81 software to manage my Nokia 8910, the connection manager doesn't recognize the connection!! I consult Nokia's staff, they said the PC Suite only can recognize "Digianswer"- compatible Bluetooth devices!!!

Has anyone encountered the same problem and do u hv any solution for it? (by software & technically)

I am really very anxious for it ....

Many thanks!!!

A collegue of mine tried to do the same with a Nokia 6310i. He just couldn't get connected through bluetooth. It turned out that the older versions of datasuite only work with the Nokia BT card. Version 5.0 of the datasuite should work with all brands of BT cards.

Classic Nokia scenario their devices seem to work with their ridiculously expensive stuff.

It does not work because Nokia's 6310i (and to some extent the 7650) use a proprietry bluetooth stack, that does not comply with the bluetooth standard. If you were to purchase a Nokia/Socket Bluetooth adaptor it would magicaly start to work.... Typical Nokia....
