k750i:
excellent 2 mega pixel cam
expandable memory (package comes with 64 mb ms duo only)
can be upgraded to a walkman but package doesn't come with HPM-70
candy bar
better games
joystick

W550i:
decent 1.3 megapixel cam (s700i cam is better)
256 mb internal memory (not expandable)
walkman phone with excellent HPM-70 earphones
swivel
better themes (flashlite)
d-pad

W550i is a step back. If you are a fan of Sony Walkman style, go straight to W800i as I've done. Or better - if you wait for a while to drop the prices- go for W900i - this is a device from the third generation (3G)! Good luck!

or better yet... try going for a W900i, it seems like a combined K750i and a W550i...

that's what i do the most now with my P800:
-playing Lemmings and so on
-Using TomTom 5 navigation
-playing a movie
-MP3's

the cam will be better than the VGA that i have in the P800 so that's ok, i still have a separate digicam.

but the k750i looks so ordinary, but it looks truly a sweet phone, like my T610 earlier. en i can't afford a more expensive phone than the W550i or the k750i(both 300€)atm, because I want to buy a laptop(MSI S262)

so the W550i loos best i Think, altough I have already got a 128 MB MSD but it still isn't the 256 MB of the Walkman...

and the w550i looks excellent toshowoff, just like I did with my p800

what do you guys think aout this?

thanks for your advice.

Why don't you get the P910i, or wait for the P990. Then you can still use your tomtom with it, and have the features of the others as well. I use the W800i and P910i on a daily basis, and have just got a HP H6340 ipaq phone, as well as my HP H2210, which are both using tomtom navigator 5. I also use the new tomtom one, but have not yet tried the version for my P910i. I also have two K750i's, but these are not used soo much now, but could not be without my P910i now. I used a W550i for about two weeks but did not like it as much as my W800i, but my wife loves hers. Sound is great on it, and ringtones are very loud. The 3D sound is great, and way louder than the W800i, it just depends what you want to use it for the most.

k750 is far more better than w550. but w900 is a great choice too. but the best is p990 of course but you need to wait 4-5 months.

i'm not that rich

and i'm not buying another P-series because of the lack of buttons(real ones) and i'm taking this mobile to several outdoor camps...

and that tomtom will not be used anymore, because the p800 goes to my dad

is the k750i faster too? because the k750i looks so ordinary

P910 and P990 both have real buttons, two sets actually; for standard phone operation and a QWERTY keyboard. If you are used to the large screen and the smart phone features then you will find K750 to be somewhat limited phone, however you will find the size very convenient.

K750 is fast enough for it’s features, what I mean is that it can play MP3s and play 3GP/MPEG4 videos at an acceptable frame rate, has a good JBenchmark score etc.

k750 is the better choice. expandable memory helps a lot.
also if u think the phone looks "plain". then change the cover and fw with the w800 one

I think if the K750 is ordinary to you, and you have a digicam, go for the W550! also helps to show of how the 'real buttons' appear with a rotating action! I've tried it once , it really is good and feels solid, it's all very confortable. you can play your games in horizontal in the long trips you make too! well think about it. seems like you wanted W550 but doubted coz of the K750.
