this is quite shocking... if i understand it correctly... what the original poster intend to tell us is just how long will our K750 last...

and in his/her case... it will only last for 350 hours... heehehe..

now im quite shock indeed!

@original poster...

kindly elaborate on this matter.

Its under service>service tests>total call time.

I got my w800 in mid December, it has 12 hours, 46 minutes.

I need to do more talking!

sheeeshh was that it? so how come it sez on the title lifetime counter?

does this mean that the lifespan of our K750 depends on the airtime it has been used?

how bout mine? it sez 30mins... bought SEPTEMBER2005 how bout that...
can i sell this one at a very high bargain? hehehehe

its very obvious that i hardly use it.

NO, service>service tests>total call time tells you how many hours of calls you've made since your first call. So, it not telling you how long will our K750 last.

You can even see the same number of call hours by - Settings>Calls>Time & Cost>Call Timers.

However, Settings>Calls>Time & Cost>Call Timers can be reset, whereas the one in the service menu cannot. Am I right here?

Mine says something a bit odd - it has a small box symbol, the number 486, another box, then a 10:27! So it says []486[]:10:27

It's a K750i that's been flashed to a W800, the flashing process has probably done something to the counter!

Mines 18 minutes a day.

Hey guys,

sorry for all the confusion i have caused here.
The 'lifetime counter' was a term used by Nokia to state how many hours and minutes of call time the phone had been used for since it was new. On Nokia phones it's accessible from the regular menu. It's a non-resettable counter.

SE only allow access to this counter from the service menu.

I use my phone a lot, about 5 hours per day most weekdays, so i always check it, because sooner or later, the phone will stop working or it's RF performance will degrade due to lots of use.

So, i just wanted to see if people's phones were lasting hundreds of hours, or thousands etc.

I never get past 400 hours before the next model comes out, and i just have to have it.

hope this clears up the confusion.

thanks
