Hey, what's up. I've been a long-time lurker here.. decided to register now that I have a problem (I know, that's bad.. but I'll stay and help others..)

Ok now, I tried to update my k750 using the Sony Ericsson updater. I got through all the stages.. downloading update.. installing update.. well, almost. Just before it completes the 'installing update' (about 1.5 bars left), it changes to a screen saying:

Error: Update Failed
Please unplug and try again (or something to that effect)

It's quite a scary screen.. it has lightning in the background. I'm a little hesitant about starting my phone now. I restarted the update like it asked and I got the same error. Think my phone will start? And how should I update if it keeps having this error?

Btw, my phone is an o2 UK k750 but I'm using it here on T-Mobile USA while I'm in the states (I study here).

I'm facing the exact same problem probably eversince the first SEUS II client came out and I had a go at updating my handset. I've heard people under the same circumstances master resetting the device and giving it another go to solve this, which sometimes did the trick and others did not.

I'm way too busy to reset the handset, so for the last 2 months I'm stuck with a half-updated handset, which I'm planning to hand it in to a certified SE service centre as soon as I get the chance.
