There's a checkbox for 'delete this post' that you can tick when you edit your post, it's near the 'disable bbcode' etc. checkboxes.

Don't know if it's available in all sections but it certainly appears in some.

EDIT: Yup, just checked, it's available in this section!

there is an option to delete your post in the edit window, but the function has a limitation of 30minutes after your post. after 30 minutes it isn't available.
