Hi,

I recently purchased a 128mb memory stick DUO to use in my S700i. However when i recieved it i insert it into the phone and it does not detect it as when i go to the memory status screen it says that the memory stick has 0b free. Also when i enter the camera and try to save to the memory stick it comes up with the message "Memory Stick Error".

I realise that i can not use a memory stick PRO DUO in the s700i and the memory stick i have is not a PRO one.

Any help would be great!

have you got a memory stick usb card reader you can use to format it on a pc or test it to see wether its a phone problem or a memory stick problem?

or even try someone elses duo in your phone or vice versa try it in another phone? [addsig]

Bump!

I have this same problem.

I just bought a 128mb Duo and it works ok in my mates K750i and he even formatted it for me but the S700i doesn't recognise it.

Any ideas anyone?

Weird!

It has the latest fw too! R3M008 and probably the last.

Bugger!
