Help on displaying picture in K750i |

Im just wondering if I can set it in the way that when someone smsed me, the contact picture would show? I try the usual adding picture to the contact, but when the person sms me, it doesnt show the picture. Only when they call. |

go to main MENU> SETTINGS > under GENERAL
look for New Events, click on that then choose POP-UP

Hey henleo, and welcome!
It sounds like your new events are being sent straight to the activity menu. In phone settings, change 'New events' to 'Pop-up.'
The one other time where pictures may not pop up straight away is when more than one person has sent you a message, and they are sent to the activity menu.

In my SE W800i I don't have "pop up" in MENU> SETTINGS > GENERAL. Is this option available only at K750? And can I set it for W800i?

under GENERAL tab look for "New Events" select it and there you will be given the options "Pop-up" or "Activity Menu"
i think firmware structures for W800 & K750 is similar... try it

Thanks a lot guys!!! Now it works! Im a new user for Sony Ericsson , have been using Nokia for years. SInce it's a new year,..a new change and challenge for me  Still havent get used to it though. But I like this k750i  |

@roumen68, the W800i doesn't have an Activity menu and therefore does not have this option. It instead has customisations for the WALKMAN button.
Your alerts will automatically 'pop-up' onto the display. This is a shame because I find the Activity Menu particularly awesome.
