Hey all,
Well Im sorry if this has been asked/posted before but I searched and I couldn't find it so..................
I was told a little trick by someone that if you enter this: *#05#
in your phone it makes it look like yours phones locked or something like that. Well then I was told after 10 times of doing that your phone locks for real or something like that. Any ideas whether to it's true or not?

He, he... I don't know, and I don't think anyone has the guts to try to find out. Would you like to be the one to give up a first hand answer? No, no, no... Don't...

It is just a little joke the programmers put in...
relatively harmless unless you try to input the PUK wrongly 10 times in a row instead of pressing NO...
then you end up with a unusable sim card!

What would be the problem even if it were true? Doesnt everyone have their PUK anyway? I actually saw this trick somewhere and did it a few times. :-l

Jeff, the PUK unlocks the SIM not the phone.
