Bluetooth alphanumeric passkey |

I'm trying to pair a bluetooth GPS device to my SE handset. The hardcoded passkey for the GPS unit is a series of letters, not numbers. I cant enter anything but numbers in the k700 user interface, so I cant pair the devices. Any ideas? Do other SE handsets allow alpha characters?

I know of a phone that lets you enter letters as a bt key. I wouldnt bother anyway as the k700i doesnt support gps.

Thats right, the K700 doesn't support the JSR-82 required for BT serial devices, but I dont care about my K700 - I'll use a P900 or whatever.
But does anyone know if a P900 or any other SE handset will support an alphanumeric passkey? |
