it is R2E006 which is the latest for the Turkey version.... this since R5A020 has been withdrawn.... |

don't know.... not even  helpdesk here in Sweden knows.... and the strange this is that where I work we still have access to it, but most other servicepoints seems not to have access to it. |

withdrawn? why? i'm gonna get mad here... my phone get crazy already... it shows my sim's message memory is 255% full... and sometimes it says my pin is wrong... does it know my pin better than me(strange part is i've entered it nearly 10 times and it always said wrong pin but it didnt asked me puk)... i cant even write new sms... |

I'm as confused as you... there is a rumour that it's withdrawn because of the bugs that has been revealed in the software...
but then again... some can still use it for updating phones... and we haven't gotten any info on stopping the updates to R5A...

have you tried your sim card in another phone? or maybe clean the simreader on the phone, and the contacts on the simcard... it sounds to me as there is something wrong with the communication between the phone and the simcard... |

yeah i tried my simcard on another phone(it worked)... and another sim card on my phone(it worked with less errors)... how can i clean the sim reader? |

you can for example use an ordinary rubber (yeah... the same one you use when erasing something you have written) and gently use it on the six contacts of the simreader.... |

i can explain like this:
before cleaning: when i select Write new (in SMS menu) it says Saved in unsent... and nothing happens(i cant write sms)
after cleaning: when i select write new i can write and send sms once... when i select write new again it says saved in unsent and nothing happens...
i think i'm gona take a walk to my service point at monday(why they dont work at sunday) |

thats why im studying electrical-electronical engineering
oh another problem at my phone it loces at Calling screen(when i try to call someone u know it must say calling and then connecting... mine just says calling and phone becomes not responding... cant even close... only i can pull the battery out) |
