Is there any benefit to using the high speed media on these devices? I would guess no since it is only mp3 and 2 megapixel photos, but....?

No benefits, because the phone is slow. Even through the USB connection you can only reach about 0.4MBps; which is much slower than USB 1.1. So unless you are planning to use a memory card reader, there is no point in buying a high speed memory, a regular Pro DUO is enough. |
