Today it happen I was playing with Motives menu. Suddenly, the screen backlight stitched ifself off. I stil could see menu and move around it. I decided to turn off phone. Right now I cannot switch it on again - it plays only few sounds from usual 'startup tune' and switches off on its own.

Is there any keyboard/mini-joystick combo to hold during startup to start the phone ??
What makes me angry it is a new phone and I wasn't playing with service menus etc. - just lame browsing phone menus.

if you push down (and keep holding it down) the NO-button, will it start then? also... connect the charger, will it start then?

Nope, keeping NO key just makes a loop of unsuccessful startups. The same goes with charger or without it. This is damn software problem - the phone worked without backlight until I decided to switch it off - now it cannot pass startup.

Polonus,

Could you be able to fix this problem? If so how did you do that? Because, even I am having the same problem.

I really appreciate if you help me out immediately.

Thanks
Ajay

Well... the only fix was to send the phone to the service - they replaced it with new unit without questions asked.
