Hello. I'm new here and have a question.
I have just purchased a sonyericsson t68i but the screen is virtually pitch black at night and i cant see a thing on it. is this normal?

The screen looks nothing like that. all i can see is a slight blue tint (Which flickers randomly) which is no good if i'm in pitch black.
Should i return the phone as faulty or is it normal?
Other than this problem i love the phone!
Thanks for your time!

My backlight is so bright I can use it as a torch!

Take it back, it's faulty!

You can try adjusting the contrast under settings and display. If you have tried this and it does not work, then try this. With your phone in standby, press >*<<*< where > < is direction of joystick. Then go to service settings and contrast. Adjust contrast
