Hi all, hope someone can help, i have a new k700i and it's great bar one thing, it can't display picture messages that are mms'd from a siemens cl75 poppy.
what it shows is a small grey square inthe message itself and if you select it and 'view' or save it all you see is a cartoony icon of a round faced smiley wearing a red top.
both phones are on the virgin network.
my k700i CAN receive video via mms from the siemens.
my k700i CAN view pictures from other phones on other networks.
both phones have had their mms settings sent to them via virgin.
my mates k700i on the Orange network CAN see the pic in the MMS pic msg.
i've tried high and low resolution settings on the siemens cl75, no joy.
sony ericsson say i MAY need a software update.
virgin say it could be software but would replace the handset with another k700i, not much good if it still wont work.
sony ericsson recommend a broadband download of the latest software. i have an apple mac, no broadband and no deskstand/usb cable.
nb my software version is R2AY004.
can anyone help at all? grateful for any and all replies, lardster_17. |
