If you want a swivel style still then go for SE W900i. Its a great 3G 2megapixel phone.

yeah was thinking that but im not keen on the walkman branding,id rather something more professional looking.the rumored k750i upgrade seems like an option but that could be months away from release. |

SE normally release the new K in the first week of march. The K700i and K750i were both out beginning of march. |

I'd say the W900i is a worthy upgrade, same form factor but more features...

@DJGrimey
I am in exactly the same position as you, my S700 is looking a bit scruffy too. I want a new phone but I know I will miss the great screen.
I have my eye on the two upcoming models but I wan't to know the screen size first (size matters to me ). I don't like the Walkman branding of the W range but the imaging capabilities of the rumoured two new handsets due to be announced sound excellent, so if you want a top-notch imaging handset to replace your old S7 then wait for these to be announced.

I was using an s700i for 10 months until i got my w900i early december. There's no way i was getting a new phone with a smaller screen than my s700i, it was too cool.
The walkman branding on the w900i isn't very noticeable, only the dark orange W logo under the screen on my black one.
coming from the s700i, i absolutely love my w900i, it's the same phone but upgraded in every department, and addresses every drawback my s700i had:
- no fullscreen video, but w900 has it (and it's amazing quality too)
- no pro duo card support, but w900 has it
- no playlist support, but w900i has it
- no 3.5mm jack, but w900i has it
- no mp3 txt alert, but w900i has it
Plus you get 3g support for super fast browsing and video calling. You get a noticeably better camera, and the flash light is a lot brighter too. You get over 10x the memory of the s700i before you even buy a pro duo card. The interface is a lot faster also. Oh and you get a proper nvidia 3D chip for games. There's also bluetooth2.0 support now. And at least for me, the battery lasts a day longer on average.
Basically i loved my s700i, and this phone feels very much like the s700i when you use it, like the same phone but heavily upgraded. It fixes every single issue and thing that bugged me about my s700i. I agree the s700i looked better, but the w900i styling grows on you, especially the black one, it's very understatedly stylish.
The s700i was the best phone i'd ever owned, but the w900i blows it away, and yet remains very similar in feel to it's predecessor. |

@Mysh- Iav used the S7 for quiet too long & it has already "grown on me" a lot.
An odd 25-30% enhancement (MPixel) and Pro Duo support apart..
non of the SE phones have quiet come up to S700/710
Interface & better chips.. yes.. but..
I mean.. between 710/700 they had Edge+radio PLUS Lens cover
something a clumsy guy like me must MUST have..
duh.. despite being my baby it has an average 7 drops a week!!
Already tried the P-Series.. still have 910.. but its not my type..
Options in the Z series are good, but clamshell design...

@ goldenface
Can you give me a link or some more info on the phones you mean. I really love my S700i and the screen is great for using Opera Mini on and if there is a chance I can get a phone with the same screen/form factor and without the walkman branding then I'm excited? |

@ ~DC:UK~ PM.
I the Walkman branding just hasn't grabbed me this time around, although I am not denying the W900i is a brilliant handset.
I am a bit of a purist
