I bought my E398 IMEI No. 353533xxxxxxxxx from Wellcom - SMCity-Iloilo in August 2004. In july 2004 the phone malfunctioned and since its still under warranty, Wellcom said they have sent it to Manila for repairs. After 3 weeks or so, they returned it to me but only after 3 days it still malfunctioned as before so I sent it back to Wellcom. In Nov 2005 the FOURTH (4th) time I returned to them the unit they said it will be replaced but until now Jan. 2006; I still havent received my phone. Did Wellcom really had it sent to Motorola-Philippines? Also when I bought the phone there was a promo wherein owners register their IMEI on the web to avail of a raffle but when I enterred mine, the website displayed a message that my IMEI has already been registered when in fact it was my first time to eneter it. Back then i suspected something fishy but didnt bother to complian because the phone worked fine until last July 2005. DTI has answered my Email and I think they're investigating (I pray they are) until now its almost February, my phone is still with them.
