hi, i recently recieved a text message from my friend, which had a simple sound clip attached to it. when trying to open the message, the phone tells me:
Download error
Internet profile error
Please check your settings
Now i'm not really sure what it means, and can't seem to find the source of the problem, though i am not an expert. this also happens exactly the same when trying to connect and use the internet...
any solutions would be well appreciated,
thankyou.

thanks for the reply, i have a virgin sim card.
in my settings it is one virgin gprs, there is no other virgin choice, so i assume that is the one i must choose. in thats settings it says to connect using wap, security off, there is no username or password set and finally there is a gateway number, i don't know if this is right or what, though i have never changed it, i have had this problem for a few months now, and to it very annoying...
any further help... anyone?

you sure it is EMS, not MMS? because AFAIK, EMS uses same SMS connection, wich has nothing to do with GPRS. perhaps the gateway number is wrong. you can compare with the settings of a friend's cellphone that is in the same network.

i'll try comparing with my mums, same network...
its just this message with the sound file attached and any similar ones that i would recieve would do the same thing. also its the internet as well... says exactly the same thing.
