Hi and thanks for reading.

I'm with O2 in the UK and they have offered me the following phones as a free upgrade. Bearing in mind that I use Mac and Linux computers only and already have an iPod, which do you think would be the best for me?

Nokia 6230i
SE W550i
Motorola ROKR E1
NEC 411i (O2 are just launching their i-mode service)

I'm not too bothered about games, but would like a nice interface and ability to sync with the Mac or Linux computers. I am upgrading from a Samsung D500 which I was fairly happy with (perhaps a little bit too thick).

Any advice would be gratefully received.

Cheers,

Kitt.

I'd say either the W550i, or the 6230i. I don't rate that Motorola, and the NEC looks nice but is underspecified.

I have a W550i, and really like it, it has enough memory for a fair few mp3/aac files if you just want a few tunes with you and don't have your iPod. The 6230i is a nice phone - though I've only used it's predecessor, the 6230 (not much difference though!).

I'd say it was a toss up between these two. The Nokia has a nice keypad and feel, but the W550i is something that little bit different, and has more memory (though it isn't expandable).
