K750 or w800 |

Ok, so I HAVE a K750 right now but it is broken and I am returning it. I have had my eye on a bunch of other Sony Ericsson phones (the upcoming w810 and k800i look great) but I want a phone NOW) so it's down to the k750 and w800.
k750 - I like that the camera has a slider over it so that it the lense can't be broken but I alway have to watch that I don't slide it open when putting the phone in my pocket.
w800 - MP3 player can run when the phone is off, this is good for me when I am flying but there is no slider over the camera though. Is there a chance of the lense being broken? Any horror stories?
What do you think I should go with?
Also, I know I can flash my k750 to a w800, will this give be the ability to play back music with the phone off? |

W800 has a more discreet lens cover, with a little switch, so no breaking the lens.

I got a k750i because I think they look ALOT better. There both in hindsight pretty much the same phone, just w800i has slightly different MP3 software. I just don’t know what SE where thinking when they made the cream and orange... |

I have a W800 which i recently got on a upgrade from Orange.
It is a fanatasic phone, full of good features like a radio, MP3 player and 2 mega pixel with x4 zoom camera. As coxy said the camera is protected by a sliding cover on the side which you move upwards to close the lens.
It is very similiar functions and layout as the K750 so you would find it very easy to use and navigate. I previously had a T610 and found it very smiliar to it as well.
As you already had a K750 i would suggest, no recommend go for the W800. You won't be disappointed.

lol well we all lose; I went for the D750. It's a mix between the k750 and the w800. I didn't really feel like spending the extra money on a memory card that I'll never use (have a 2gb card) and I can get over the ugly colours.... god... so ugly.
Thanks everyone. |

but... u´ll still have to live with a worst joystick, worst camera shutter, worst headphones, no 3,5mm adaptor, worst box(everybody keeps w800´s box, now d750... chucked most of the times) worst software( sorry everybody, but the ipod-like interface and flight-mode REALLY makes a difference). When i first got it i was still a bit concerned about the colors but then my friends(girls) all liked it and others always say ´oh, its so pretty, can u show it to me? and etc´ so, dont mind w800s looks. It looks more stylish and expensive than k750/d750 and chics dig it. And by the way, d750 is pinkish man... were u really complaining about an orange phone and a got a pinkish one? |

Actually, when I turned my d750 on for the first time I was happy to find that it had been flashed to a w800. Not bad, not bad at all. |
