Converting K608i to K600i firmware |

Sorry if this has been discussed before, but I don't know the current situation on this matter. Is the conversion currently possible, or is this CID dependant? Can this be done via Davinci? I haven't even received the phone yet though  I need to do this because in Finland K608i isn't available - only K600i. So for finnish language I need the K600i fw/software. |

yep davinci will flash with the mini usb or a service (t28) cable, i actually used setool2 to flash my v600 (vodafone version of k600) to k600 firmware and worked flawlessly, only problem is if u get a new cid49 phone, a testpoint is needed when using some software, davinci can flash without testpoint so thats ok, but to unlock TP is required

Thanks for reply! I'll look up the CID when I get the phone, It's used so I might get lucky...
I have DSS-25 docking station, will it do the trick also? |

that will allow it to be flashed i believe, dont honestly know about unlocking thou (you can test the cable/deskstand for free in latest davinci )

Unlocking won't be a problem as it is, I believe, already unlocked. Atleast I've bought it unlocked from ebay. Thanks for the help. |

Well, The phone arrived. It was CID 37. Now I'm getting info that the k608i->k600i conversion won't work with Davinci, nor any other (software)client. So it has to be done via SETool2?
Now thats a bummer, bough DSS-25 just for this and one login for Davinci. I just hope it is even possible to add EU4 language pack to the existing firmware this k608i has... |

Ok, Total Multiserver did the trick. I installed the k600i R2T firmware with CID49 and it went in flawlessy, I even got the finnish language in. No more 3 adverts! |
