i think the "heartbeat" tone would work for those criteria.

In that one its the green LED flashing. I actually want the screen to flash.

there are two versions.
one is that only the LED is blinking.
the other version has blinking backlights and keypad lights.

Thanks m8. What bit of that actually controlls the timing. I want to make it go on off on off like at 2 second intervals. Now its just like a strobe box!!!

I think its the r2@101 that does it. I'm not sure though. I'll try it when I get back to my own house.

Try altering the values of the r5 and r2 numbers.

That should alter the time between changes. I think if you make both of them the same it should stay on and off fo the same period of time.

Then just change the values to change the pause length.
