Mobilephones i had: T10, T18, P800, P900, T630, P910. Motorola T260, MPx 220. Siemens MC60, SX1. Nokia 3510i, N-Gage, 3310. Qtek 9100, 9090. Samsung X-830. Have now: Treo 650

no. windows mobile smartphone is designed for more conventional phone styles with small screen whereas windows mobile is for the larger screened devices

a simpler explanation..smartphone 2003 pertains to non pda devices( non pocket pc) ..windows mobile 03 is for pda devices which classify as pocket pc devices

Technically-speaking you're wrong- there's Windows Mobile 2003 for Smartphones and Windows Mobile 2003 for Pocket PCs with Integrated Phone Capabilities...

So technically "Smartphone 2003" and "Windows Mobile for 2003 for Smartphones" are the same (some people just refer to the Smarthphone variety as "Smartphone 200x" to help distinguish it from the Pocket PC variety, which is the primary platform for Windows Mobile)!

hmmm, well I think I answered it in a way that was understood but if we are going to pedantic, and for those who want to know the differences between the windows mobile devices, I'd suggest a quick look at this microsoft page which will help explain it all
