Hi,
I just bought the HPM-70 handsfree for my K750i and realise the sound on HPM-70 is lower than the original handsfree from K750i and the EQ setting in media player need to adjust in order to optimise the sound quality output on HPM-70.
Can anyone tell us what's your favourite EQ setting on media player when using HPM-70..........cheers !

i tend to not use megabass as it distorts too much. Usually i use a 'preset' equalizer setting, 1st bar nearly maximum, put the 2nd 3rd & 4th up a couple of notches, and the 5th bar almost to the top. I think the 1st bar relates to the bass and 5th bar relates to the treble. |

I don't think the HPM-70 is lower than the original k750i earphones.... i think you're not inserting the earphones correctly, it should be way way in your ear to appreciate it>>"in-ear" |

Well I too bought that headset to replace my k750i standard one. I think the sound is better as the buds go further in your ear. The standard ones don't, unless you have ears like an elephant.
But if this aint clear enough, why not plug some other headphones into your new ones, I find the sound even better, especially after editing all my mp3's with a neat little program called 'mp3gain' |

@caff
The HPM-70 comes with 3 earbuds. choose what size fits your ear and make sure the ear buds goes in as much as it can. If it hurts, stop
I use Megabass when listening to Rock or anything with good bass music. I use Treble boost if I'm listening to acoustic music. In short, it really depends what type of music you're listening. There's no one Best setting for all types of music IMHO.
I also turn on the stereo most of the time
