As you can see Laffen has put a new comment on top of New Topic.
There has been a few post about unlocking from network, upgrading your phone by others than Service Points, and so on...
Exerscises like that are not recomended to preform your self.
It might ruin your phone, be considered as breach of contract by network provider, loss of warranty and basically cause more troubble than it's worth.
Let us keep Esato clean in a way where your mum or an reprecentative can suprise you with a sudden aperance in the room.
Let us keep on having fun, jokes, arguments, discussions, creativity, new stuff on the market, everything that makes owning a product great.
Let's not change anything, let's keep Esato as it is, but let's keep the c**p out.

.......og så stemmer vi alle på Valgerd, er snille og flinke og spiser grønnsaker hver dag? In english; There's absolutly no law against asking, is there? It's the reply that might be questionable, and there's always the possibility to reply to private email. Just my thoughts, feel free to disagree.... |

I can understand the wish of everyone to have a free speaking and informative forum. I totally agree! It's just that we must be seen to be doing the right thing. If we do not post anything on here that is considered illegal or similar then we have no chance of anyone taking any legal action against us.
True?

gazobee, you're on a very dangerous track here.. If everything that might be illegal should be banned, then how far is it to banning everything that might be offensive to someone, thoughts you do not agree on, ideas or meanings that is different from your own? If we can't even ask questions, which by the way is legal in every country I care to think about, we're doomed. So I guess it's goodbye esato for me.....

Xeleven and tranquil,
I think you misunderstand me. I'm not saying that you should not be allowed to ask questions, question what you beleive to be questionable, or that you should be censored in any way. All i'm saying is that if you are not careful where you ask these questions someone may come along and piss on your fire!

In a ruling today, a Swedish court holds the editor of thke web edition of Aftonbladet (a major Swedish newspaper) responsible for comments published on their forum, and the forum has subsequently closed. "

I thought Esato was an independent site!? This site isn't sponsored by SE or anything is it? So who does Laffen have to answer to? This site cannot be compared to one of Swedens biggest newspapers!!
Correct me if I'm wrong, Laffen.

Maybe I am Dirty!
Oh my... I don't know how many phones I unlock
Well this forum is not for unlocker, reverse engineering or whatsoever. There are many forums for that matter. I agree that we make this forum clean. (Because on the other side of forum I am dirty)

My first T68 was a hacked one, I had it for 12 hours. When I realized that it was "made to be" network free, I returned to the shop and am very glad I got my money back. That was the worst feeling having something that I knew was stolen from someone (even if just stolen from the network provider, who sold it for less because of a contract).
The posts mentioned above disturb me too, because I think for every phone like that there is somebody having been robbed. I simple don't enter these threads on Esato. Maybe we should make an "Illegal activities" forum too just for those. |
