The WX310J is a new business phone with finger print recognition security they havent even included a camera.There is a miniSD card slot,few other details are available on the handset at this time other than the e-mail capabilities and 0.65-inch thickness.It is available now in Japan for about $220 (£110).

yeh i did'nt quite get that either....
batesie the car symbol may just represent the in-car mode dock mode...but thats just a wild guess.

The car image is common on Japanese phones, kinda like our profiles we have in our outdoor etc, this just tells the person that rings " I am driving right now and can not take your call...etc etc" It doesnt let your phone ring or anything, kinda like a quick divert.

Trust me it is, Japanese phones get pretty cramped with stuff so they need to find alternative options to place it. I have seen quite a few phones like that in Japan nothing special.

well, I hope they have improved the finger print recognition over that which I had in an iPAQ a couple of years ago. Even though I recorded my finger print, only 50% of the time would it recognise it whereas with my fingerprint stored, it would 100% recognise my wife and both my kids!
