Can anyone shed any light on a problem i've got....i've searched around but no joy. What i've got is a T68i and t28 data cable, i can't get it to recognise my phone(don't know how to connect to the right com port). Anyone know how to do this? I have 'mobile phone monitor' installed and was hoping to use 'sendfile' s/w to send photos etc, I was also going to unlock the phone in the future when I get hopefully get it connected.

Are you sure that the T28 cable that you have is a data cable?

It could be a flash/service cable and that wouldn't work. Check out the howto thread for converting flash/service cables to data. Please use SEARCH

I think it is a flash cable, I had a search round to find out what type it is and judging by some of the diagrams it is not set up for data. I'm now going to unlock my phone before converting to a data cable, is there any way of knowing that the cable will work with the phone before buying logs?
Cheers
