Why do you think your transfers are slow...?

you should get a usb card reader. they write at around 1Mb per second...

my transfer rate is around 0,34mb/sec which is too slow (even they, form SE said it so), and in a card reader it goes up to 2mb/sec...its just strange, and keeps bugging me |

it took 8 min 30 sec to transfer a 52 mb file via the pc suite to a 1gb mem stick using a p910i....... and with a card reader less than a minute. you are not the only one.

Test results:
Phone: K750i
Firmware version: R1N035
Memory Card: Sandisk MS Pro Duo 512MB
File Type: MP3
Number of files: 14
Total Size: 50.0MB
Time took to copy: 2 minutes 22 seconds
Average speed: 0.35 MB/sec
Then I tested with my old USB 1.1 MP3 player and it took 1 minute and 10 seconds to copy the same set of files. Meaning it is exactly twice as fast as the K750.

its just the same...cos u cant use the usb2.0, the phone is just to slow for that.....but ive tried usb1 and usb2...its the same speed 0,34mb
kinda glad im not the only one, maybe it is the maximum for the phone...but why did they in SE say it was too slow when i e-mailed the same thing
"...A transfer speed of 0.34 would be below the standard speed. I would suggest trying with a different computer to check if you notice any difference.
If it is the same speed there could be something wrong with the phone..." <-- quote from SE response |
