The K700i has no operating system as such. It is a stand alone system not symbian or anything like that.

First of all one need to understand the difference between a phone and a smartphone..
The likes of the K700, K750 etc are "normal" phones with no "os" as such..of course it has an os but its shared only by other K700s OR k750s not by other models even if they belong to the same brand...

A smartphone on the contrary is a phone which runs on a common platform [os] which is shared by many phones of different brands.
