Battery life K750i much better than W800i. |

Any one else found this?? I hhave owned both models and I have definatly found that the W800 has a very much shorter standby time, althought they have the same battery, are pretty much the same model.
Would it make any difference, the K750 was on O2 and the W800 on Orange? Does Oranges settings have more drain on the battery and so shorten the standby time on the W800?

Are you sure that both phones have similar settings? For example Bluetooth ON/Off, Brightness of the screen, Vibration alert ON/Off etc. Signal strength also can play a role in battery life. I can vaguely remember a discussion about how the firmware version can also affect the battery life, though I don’t recall what the final out come of that discussion was. |

How much difference did you notice? I believe it matters which network it is connected to. The strength of the signal in your area also counts. There was a member here (I forgot) who mentioned he noticed hours of difference in standby time when he used the same phone to another network in another country.

Another thing, animated wallpapers can also shorten battery life as they require more processing power. However I don’t think that would make a huge difference. So as you can see there are many reasons. How many hours are we talking about here? |

I dont think, that w, k and d models have different standby and talktime with the same batt and same fone hw. The only fone i in which i recognized increased batt life was t68m with i fw

Better signal wiv Orange,99% coverage in UK (compared wiv o2). Orange may send signals to ur phone more frequently too. Try swìtching the sims if u can for a better test.

I use celltrack app in n70 for check rec etc, might be there is an app for se too
