The cable just doesn't seem to work. I'm using Win XP on my pc as well on my labtop and the installation process is without any problems whatsoever. But my phone doesn't get picked up by either the "phone Settings" appication or apps from Christersson.org.
I've downloaded the newest drivers from the SE site, which states that the drivers are verified for 98/Me/2000. How about XP? |

I'm using a USB-cable with XP and it works fine. Try reinstall it!

i want a dat cable for xmas for my t68i ... does it work on win XP or not ?? which one shoud i choose serial port or usb ? or should i better simply get a bluetooth adaptator for my PC ? |

i had the cable, couldn't get it to work, so i returned it. Got my ir to work so i am happy  |

did you buy an external irda port for your pc. if so which one and from where. i saw one on ebay for £10 is it worth it??

Install the drivers for xp then connect the phone and the pc with this cable and open mobile phone monitor or image editor for your phone and wait 1 minute
It works for me |
