v800 debranding using z800i software from SE site? |

hi there... i know this topic has been beaten to death, but i can't seem to find the answer to this question.
is the SE site's software updater different from what davinci provides? i'm just unclear if SE's site provides a total firmware flash or if it just updates your existing firmware for bugs, etc.

s/e will flash it with updated firmware with branding. davincis server lets you choose the files you want to flash so you can use the z800 files.
