Problem with SEUS to update SE Z800i |

Dears,
What´s wrong with SEUS ?? i am trying to use the new update service.. its telling me .. there no syncstation installed .. !! It was possible before to use the normal USB cable to update the phone !! is it changed now or what ??

Hi,
You can update your phone with a DSS-20/DSS-25
syncstation only, otherwise it doesn't work.

I just spent the last hour trying to get it to work. Why do we have to buy some other cable to update when the one that comes with the phone is perfectly fine. |

I got an answer from SE Help Disk !! its working now !!! but its a very special way ..

Tack för att Ni kontaktade Sony Ericsson Call Center.
Skall man uppdatera Sony Ericsson Z800i/V800 med den medföljande USB-kabeln måste man välja "Fastport" och inte den kontakt som motsvarar telefonen. För att sedan starta uppdateringen skall man hålla in < (vänsterpil) och starta telefonen istället för att hålla in C och ansluta kabeln.
Får ni någon fråga om installation av Flash device finns drivrutinen under C:ProgramSony EricssonUpdate ServicesetupdriversUSB.

In English ..
When you update V800/Z800 with the follower USB cable do like that, Switsh off your Phone !! Choose the FAST PORT contact which belongs for the newer phones like K750i or W800 .. not the one which belongs to Z800 or V800 .. then Press < (Left arrow) in same time Start the phone now !! and plug the USB cable !!
If its asks you about the FLASH driver, its located at :
C:ProgramSony EricssonUpdate ServicesetupdriversUSB .
Now start the update
