memory stick speed problem. |

Hello,
got an issue with my k750i and sony 1GB memory stick pro duo....
well, im having some write speed issue when i write files to stick using usb cable and my phone...when i was using the old stick of 64mb that came with the k750i the speed was around 0,34mb/sec (i dont know if that is ok but i didnt took too long to fill up 64mb)
now with my new stick the story goes like this, i start to transfer some files and the speed is more or less 0,34mb but then it drops down like crazy and goes really slow (didnt do the calculation of the exact speed) and some times it jumps back to "normal" then drops dow again
now i tried it in a built-in card reader in laptop and it works fine (around 2mb/sec), so anyone knows what it could be, a problem with the card, phone or what, is the speed limited by virtual modem transfer rate?
any ideas, would help a lot, cos i dont wanna wait that long for transfers, and to take out the stick every time to put it in lapot....nah

To be honest mate its not that much effort to take it out. Just push it in, pull it out, write the files, push it back in.
Its not like a Nokia where you have to turn the phone off, take the batter out and all thats, its pretty simple. |
