I accidentally deleted some files from the K750i INTERNAL memory. Is there a clever way or getting these files back?

| Hmm... He wants to retrieve his information, i think a master reset would eliminate any chance of doing that for sure. |

the only way is like reinstalling the phone software itself... the only way to do this is flashing... either SEUS 2 or third-party softwares like www.davinciteam.com
sorry dude thats all i can help.

if it was on the memory card no problem just use deleted file recovery software for fat/fat32. However I know of no way for such software to access the internal memory of the K750, since it cannot be assigned a drive letter.

i wonder what particular files were deleted from the phone's internal memory? if apps or midlets, then you can reinstall them anyway! other than that, there's no way to recover it... |

ok lets assume... since he's not posting that much...
maybe what he's pertaining to INTERNAL MEMORY are those pre-installed files within K750.

hmm, the preinstalled stuff is the first thing I get rid of, so I sorta assumed he meant he had deleted his own content. But I could be wrong though my mind boggles why you would want to keep it and besides it's easy to find the original content to download from esato or other forums. There is no need to do a master reset to get back a copy of the original content.
But it's true any original content can be restored with a master reset. But of course a master reset gets rid of any personal settings and any personal content on the phones internal memory.

@max_wedge
i am confused what's really within the original content. does it contains games i.e. aeromission & super real tennis; apps i.e. world clock & hp print; some mp3, midi & amr sounds; 4 sample themes and 1 demo tour video?
'coz when i bought my k750 all those mentioned above were already installed and i have'nt tried the master reset yet.
please explain further. thanks. |

furthermore...
i think its not easy to delete pre-installed components...
the stuff that comes along when you buy your K750...

on my optus branded handset I got super real tennis but not aero mission. I'm sure I've seen it somewhere for download though.
But basically your are correct. The files you mentioned are all original content, and should be restored on master reset (note preinstalled games generally can't be deleted anyway). Not sure about aero mission, whether it is original or not.

you're right, preinstalled games can't be deleted!
i've tried to delete the super real tennis & hp print, and it says "Cannot be deleted, protected file". but the aeromission & world clock can be deleted.
are these protected files are original content and will be restored after master reset? while in the case of aeromission & world clock, they can no longer be recovered even after master reset? hmm... |
