I am now trying to convert some S700 themes,Hapee and Bloc, into K750. Anyway, due to different structures that K750 has,I have to combine the S7?? softkey and statusbar images to the desktop image. I know how to resize them, but I don't know how to combine. I use Image Ready and Photoshop. Please, tell me how to combine the 3 separated images into 1 image. Do you know what I mean, right? Thanks. |

I am on wap now. Like this. Suppose I have 3 images. Let's call them image 1,image 2 and image 3. Those are three separated images, right? Then, now I want to combine them all into one, without overlapping one another indeed. Image 1 at the top, image 2 in the middle and image 3 at the bottom. So,there will be only 1 image as a result :a combination of the three images. How to do it anyway? |

One way to do it in photoshop (or any other editor) would be:
1. Create a new blank canvas the same size as you want the final image to be.
2. Open the three images that you want to make up the final image.
3. Select all of image 1, select 'copy' and then paste it as a new layer in the blank canvas.
4. Resize the image 1 layer so that it fits the width of the blank canvas perfectly.
5. Move the image 1 layer to the correct position (top, middle or bottom)'
6. Repeat steps 3,4 and 5 for images 2 and 3.
7. Resize the three images vertically so that they don't overlap.
8. Merge (flatten) the layers to create one final image.
Depending on the images, the resizing might cause them to look distorted. To prevent this, you could stitch the images together as explained above but without resizing them first, then resize the entire image at the end (after you've merged the layers). Alternatively, you might have to crop some of the images rather than resizing them.
