Hi,
this might be a dumb question but how does the T68i determine what language (menus etc.) it operates in? (I am talking strictly T68i, to the T68iE). Is the T68i I buy in Germany different from the one in the US or Britain or is the language in the phone but determined by the sim ? Is there a way to update a phone to 'all languaes' as the European GSM phones do ?

Thanks,
Daniel.

It depends on the language version of the firmware itself. I flashed mine in Switzerland and only got German and English.

Apropro, does anyone know how to change the default language? Mine defaults to German but I use English much more often. :-(

Interesting !
How can you find out what country's version you have (I know how to get into the service menu, but where in the version does it reflect it?)?

Thanks,
Daniel.

Below the version number you see the firmware number, this tells you which language version you have.
