Can anybody help me pls, I can send and receive e-mails with no probs on my P910i but for some reason on my XDA Mini S I dont get the attatchments they just show as image.jpg enclosed in arrows do they store somewhere or somthing or is there a setting somewhere. Cheers.

you haven't mentioned what, if any settings, you have made
so I'll go through them

in messaging go to menu, tools, options and click the email accountyou are interested in

click next, next, next until you see options (on the same page as the incoming and outgoing server addresses)

click that options button

the first page allows you to set up an interval for checking email (I use 15 minutes) but you don't have to set that for this problem

click next and there are various other settings you can ignore for now

click next and there is the options you probably need for get message header only or get full copy of messages and if you choose the latter you can then choose the maximum size of message body (including attchments) to allow the retrieval to get

Sorry Masseur, I forgot to mention that. Yep I had selected to download the whole attatchment options. And it does appear (according to the e-mail size) that the whole message was downloaded. But I just can find the actual file, it just has the file name shown in arrows, but no actual file.

Sorted... It was just that e-mail... I have tried sending other images and it worked.
