help guys, im having trouble transferring music to my w800i. I used the disc2phone software but all of the songs that I transferred disappears when I disconnect my phone from the PC. I really dunno why this happens. My memory stick is ok, but the problem is that only 1 or 2 songs are transferred to my phone. I tried putting in the songs directly to the memmory card but like before only 1 or 2 songs were transferred.

Is this a bug?how can i solve this?will the firmware upgrade sort this out?thanks!!!

Have you tried using a card reader/writer?

Which version do you have, if it's R1N035 then I recommend that you use SEUS to update to R1AA008

I'm having the exact same issues, using the Sandisk 512mb supplied with the w800i.
I've probably spent about 3-4 hours trying to work out why certain songs stay on the duo, but not others. All of the songs I've transfered have been from my music library on the pc. I've used Disc2Phone, I've dragged and dropped using windows explorer, and I've used a memory card reader. It just doesn't make sense. The only times I've managed to transfer an album and for it to stay in the right folder and be playable under the walkman mode is when I do it one album at a time using "D2P", closed the app, and then re-opened to add another. Very bizarre. Also, When I first used the card reader to transfer albums to the mp3 folder on the duo, the phone would recognise the Album Title via the walkman button , but not that there were any tracks! The only way to play the tracks was under the ringtones setting. What's the point in that! I don't think they've made the best use of the Walkman idea here. Could do better Sony Ericsson!

Are you trying to move copy-protected tracks onto your mobile? If so, they will fail

I use Windows media player 2 do it, it's more reliable than disc2phone. Hook it up and click on the sync tab in wmp. This is assuming u have windows media player 10. It works a treat and u get 2 keep the album and artist names!
